S.R. Kissler Letterpress Event!

The mobile letterpress studio of S. R. Kissler Press has returned

from their 2 month cross country road-trip around the US,

 `The Summer of Mobile, Moveable Type.’ 

Come down to Biome Slow Craft Collective on Friday, August 20th from 6-8 PM to view the 20 print postcard series they created in collaboration with print shops from around the country. 

You can view and buy the limited edition postcards prints, hear them give a talk about the excitement and trials of the road, and view their one-of-a-kind mobile art studio.

 The prints will only be on view from 6-8 pm and will be giving a brief talk about their work at 7, so you are not going to want to miss this beautiful event!

Say it with me, mobile, moveable type. That’s right, we’re taking our little press on the road. We’ll be outfitting Jimi (the Scion xD) into a one-of-a-kind mobile letterpress studio. On a mission to document our current time and place(s) & share the art of letterpress along the way, we will be stopping to print postcards at established print shops & anywhere that calls to us along the way (pit-stop print sesh?!)
