Knitting 101

Knitting 101  Materials:

This is a beginner knitting class that will go over the basics of knitting!

 You will learn how to cast on, how to create three basic stitches (knit, purl, and garter), and how to bind off to create your first project, a mug rug aka a coaster.

 I’ve always enjoyed being to express myself in many creative forms, from digital art to painting to pottery, but when I started knitting in October 2020 it felt different. It was rewarding to complete project after project and I fell in love with how meditative it can be. I love to make hats and Im starting to venture into creating more wearable pieces like scarves and sweaters.
