Ceramic Sgraffito with Christine Sutton of Little Bird Painting!

The first day of the workshop will be dedicated to forming your piece, the second day designing with different carving and glazing techniques! Sgraffito (in Italian "to scratch") is a decorating pottery technique produced by applying layers of color or colors (underglazes or colored slips) to leather hard pottery and then scratching off parts of the layer to create contrasting images, patterns and texture and reveal the clay color underneath.

There are no refunds or retaking classes for a different day. You will only receive a refund for a class if the ENTIRE workshop is cancelled due to bad weather. We understand that coming from out of town (Livingston etc) can have pass closures. Unless the pass is closed we will not be refunding workshops. Please understand by purchasing a workshop you will be waiving your right to a refund for no call no shows or mistaking dates/times.
